I use performance, imagery, storytelling and ritual to investigate the mediated space between reality and fiction where identity is constructed. My subjects exist outside of place or time, mined from memory, media, fragments of history, and a bit of magic. I am a detective following clues, enlisting free association, play, and replay to find access points for audiences to explore, along with me, the nature of personal belief. Each work, presented as an exploration-in-process, revels in the self-reflexive awkwardness of its incomplete state.

The “forgetful one” turns to others “to stitch her narratable self together with the story into which she was constitutively interwoven.”
